Final Regulations on HIPAA: We get a “reprieve” on the “transaction sets” for one year (provided we have filed for the extension) and now we have to focus on “privacy” In fact, we need to focus on “privacy” while we are doing “system tests” for the transaction sets. Final Regulations on APCs: More changes for 2003!!! Have you done an “APC Performance Profile” to see how you have performed over the last year or two??? Have you done an impact analysis for your facility for APCs 2003? How can you know the impact if you have not done a ‘Performance Profile’?
